Child & Youth Network, Building Futures

Child & Youth Network Program

Working with orphan and vulnerable children and youth who live in Residential Care Institutions (RCIs) and those who have left RCIs, known as Care Leavers. This program builds their capacity for life skills, work experiences, and vocational skills, preparing them to leave alternative care and live in the community with confidence and independence.

Child and Youth Network Program

Designed to work with children and young people living in institutional Youth Clubs and with youth who have left RCIs (Care Leavers Program). Our goal is to empower all children and youth living in orphanages, as well as members of the Care Leavers Network, to build self-confidence, independence, and the skills needed to live and adapt successfully in their communities in the future.

Youth Club Program

We motivate children and youth in institutions to participate in establishing youth clubs within their centers. Through the youth club program, we strengthen their abilities by training them to become good leaders, child-led facilitators, and responsible individuals.

  • Training in leadership skills and child-led facilitation
  • Improving communication skills, work skills, and soft skills
  • Empowering young people to have a voice within the institution
  • Promoting education, health, youth empowerment, and young women's empowerment
  • Exchange visits and study tours to other RCIs and communities

Care Leaver Network

The Care Leavers Network exists to connect and support young people as they transition from residential care into independent life in their communities.

  • Supporting youth facing emotional, social, and economic challenges
  • Assisting those being phased out of RCIs, experiencing RCI closure, or going through reintegration
  • Addressing struggles with education, employment, and adapting to community life
  • Ensuring Care Leavers remain connected, supported, and empowered
  • Building safe, stable, and fulfilling lives
